1. I’m writing dialogue for a skit I have to perform with some classmates, and I was wondering if this was the correct way to say: “My favorite class is my nutrition class. It’s very interesting!”

   私のクラスの一番は私のクラス栄養です。とてもおもしろいです。

   My best tool that I know of right now that’s convenient is Google Translate and it’s giving me, well, not that:

   “The number one thing in my class is nutrition in my class. It’s very interesting.”

2. Is there a way to do a daily Anki review more than once per day?

3. Is there a substantial difference between 「前に」 and 「前から」when expressing how long ago something was?

4. First time poster.

   One of my goals is to be able to watch and understand Ghibli movies in their original Japanese. My American copies of the movies don’t have Japanese subtitles for some reason.

   Any tips for working towards this goal? Should I learn Japanese in general and eventually understand enough out of context? Or would it be helpful to learn words specifically in the script?

5. Shinkanzen N2 Grammar L24 Exercise

   1. 親に本当のことを言おうか言うまいか、(3日も考えている)。Why is 3日も考えている preferred over わからない? Is it because the former indicates a change of the state while the latter only indicates the current state?

   2. あ、どろぼう。財布を取られた。(逃がす)もんか。必ず捕まえるぞ。 Why is 逃がす (transitive) preferred here over 逃げる(intransitive)? Is it because 逃げる talks about the speaker’s escape while 逃がす talks about the speaker letting someone else/something else escaped(in this case it was the robber who took the wallet)?
