Hey, this is my first time posting here, but maybe someone got a tipp for me.
I started learning japanese a while ago and wanted to focus only on Kanji first and that went quite well actually (\~120 Kanji in 3 weeks with 1-2h per day). I had to take a break while graduating but after that break of a couple months I am now starting again (2 weeks in now) and because I have more time after graduating I thaught it was nice to not only learn the kanji but also some JLPT5 Vocab with an Anki deck that was recommended to me by a friend. So far it has been alright but I am starting to recognize that I face increasing difficulties remembering vocabulary that is mostly written in hiragana. I don’t know if this is because I am just starting out and don’t have the auditive sensibility to distinguish and recognize japanese sound patterns but every time I got a word and it’s meaning I have the feeling that I instantly forget it and when it appears back on my screen I am like “it sounds familiar but I CANNOT remember the meaning”. It really bummes me out. I know Japanese is not easy and I am determined to invest the time to learn it but I would really appreciate if some of you had tipps of how I can tackle my issue. Thanks a lot 🙂
