A discovery, and a question

As I’m working on improving my reading and overall vocab, I’ve been using the Todai app (since technically speaking, I’m not sure NHK News easy has its own app, at least on Android- which relates to my question). Just today I realized something: for anyone else who uses this app, if you pay attention to the color bar beneath each article headline in the menu, you can actually seen how many of the words are at what level. The more blue and yellow (I think? Whatever color is for N3 and below) the easier the article… or in other words, easier for those of us who are lower level to read and understand. I found this one out the hard way.

So for my question: in another thread, i was recommended Manabi Reader. from the sound of it, it’s exactly what I’m looking for… except for the fact that it’s iOS only, and again, I have Andriod. Now, I get that JPDB probably does the same thing, but I’m curious if there’s any app on Android that pulls and translates the vocab from a source? The one I saw (tangoristo) appears to be no longer functioning.
