Greetings, first of all, I don’t know reddit very much so I apologise if this question was already asked countless of times.
I’m Dan, i’m 24 years old and next year, around October, I’m planning to move to Japan on a Holiday Working Visa. I want to stay in Tokyo for 6 months, and 3 months in two other cities. In the future, I’m planning to move to Japan with a working visa, but for now this one year experience is the plan.
I would like to ask a few questions but mainly, what do you think I should pick as the other 2 cities?
I want to experience everything that Japan has to offer, specially stuff like Onsens and Martial arts events (I am a big fan of Sumo and Karate), and I also love History. I am also interested in going to a place where I can improve my Japanese but also not depend on it 100% ( Im currently only on N4, and even though im good with languages and communicating, Im sure thats not enough to have a full casual conversation). Also, I plan on working there on part time jobs, so im looking for a place that has opportunities for foreigners. Lastly, I’m more of a city/big town person, so Im not really looking for a small town or country side.
