Can anyone recommend mid-priced Scandinavian and mid-century modern furniture stores in Tokyo? Similar to West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Room and Board, Blue Dot, Design Within Reach, etc. in the US.
Similar questions have been asked before on this sub but I haven’t been able to find what I’m looking for and I’m beginning to think there just isn’t a market for it in Japan.
I’m looking for better quality than Ikea and Nitori but also not trying to spend $10k on a couch.
So far I’ve found

as well as a bunch of stores that aren’t quite what I’m looking for such as

I’m looking for 17th century french furniture. Why aren’t there more 17th century french furniture stores in Tokyo?
Idc has a variety of brands and styles

there is a market but mid-priced will be the sticking point for actual Scandinavian or vintage mid-century stuff. if you want real stuff and can pay for it:

I personally like Miyazaki furniture. They have their own designs and do some classics too. A handmade in Japan sofa with choice of wood and fabric will be well under $10k. There are a number of shops in Tokyo that can order:

Scroll down for Tokyo shops that they work with and I’m sure you’ll find other nice stuff at each:

Depending on your style prefs, you might like Masterwal too. They have showrooms in Tokyo and Yokohama. Or still very nicely made but a bit more conservative, Kagura in Ginza:

Check out karf (https://www.karf.co.jp/). Amazing Japanese/Scandinavian style furniture. Acme can also occasionally have Scandinavian style furniture, but is just generally high quality. A-flat is also nice, but not Scandinavian.
Try Tokyo Interior, at least it’s fun to look around in their warehouses.
Not exactly Scandinavian but does have some similarities I think.
