It’s around midnight, I try to use my contactless suica card on my iPhone wallet app to leave the station like I’ve done a thousand times before, ticket gate gives me a big fat ❌. My account has 6,000円 so no problem there.
What went wrong?
The absolute head scratcher is that when I went to the ticket counter, he had his own card scanner and that worked perfectly fine.

Happened to me recently, most likely you didnt properly enter the station.
At the ticket counter the scanner they use will read the card and fix it. I’m sure you either entered or exited improperly at some stage of that trip. Should be fine now
Happened to me too. The reason is that I thought I beeped in proberly but apparently I didn’t. Instead I passed through the gate on the card of the person before me.
