What makes Kagawa prefecture different?

The reason I’m wondering is I was looking back at the 2021 election results. There is a lot of uniformity, but the main outliers I noticed were Ishin winning more in Osaka which makes sense, JCP in Naha (the Commies), and then I saw that Kagawa stood out as going disproportionately more for the DPFP and I was wondering if that pointed to anything else unique about that prefecture. Has anyone spent time there, or know anything about it?

  1. That “going disproportionately more for the DPFP” amounts to a single DPFP member winning a seat. Kagawa is small. It only has 3 seats. 2 went LDP and 1 went DPFP.

  2. I’ve lived here for 5 years, saw the title and got excited and ready to give a nice tourism guide, saw the contents and was disappointed.
