Friend and I are travelling mid nov for two weeks. I’ve read online that there are buses that travel down that path, from Fuji to Gotemba, and then from Gotemba to Togendai/Hakone. Would it be wise to take these buses?
We will be carrying small luggage and will have a suica card + jr rail pass on us.

I did this last month. If you don’t get motion sick easily, it’s doable, but the less dizzying way is to go back to Tokyo and head to Hakone that way instead.
