I’m taking a trip to Japan in a year or so and enjoy a nice dram. Any good midrange whiskeys exclusive to (or cheaper in) Japan?
Budget would be $80-100, but if there are cheaper nicely drinkable options (like four roses equivalents etc.) I’m open to those.

You can get everything better than Four Roses for the budget, but I’m not sure how much the prices will change in a year.
Nikka is probably one of the most accessible I’d say and various levels of quality for price but otherwise pretty solid imo.
