  1. I used to buy mangas on mercari when i was in japan. There’s a proxy site called buyee that can help you buy from mercari if you live overseas.

    https://buyee.jp/mercari/

I haven’t tried it yet so i can’t give you more info. Btw you can also use buyee to bid on yahooauc.

  2. What’s your opinion on piracy?

If that’s a no go you can buy manga in Japanese from the kindle store if you sign up for Amazon jp and use a fake address. Would save you a ton of money especially since Japanese manga tends to be cheaper than overseas

  3. Are you strictly looking for physical copies? If e-books/digital versions are okay, I would try honto.jp or bookwalker. Payment might be a problem if you don’t have a credit card, but I think bookwalker accepts PayPal too.

  4. If you’re okay with not physical copies, Google TheMoeWay and check out the resources page

  5. I go straight to mandarake.co.jp, they translate the site to English and ship worldwide. You can also go to Amazon.co.jp and set the language to English, and they ship worldwide also. Is the problem that shipping to your country is expensive?

  6. If you’re okay with used manga, check eBay. Sometimes complete sets of popular series show up in good condition with free shipping available.

  7. You can sign up for shonen jump plus with a US credit card, I think.

I use a Japanese iTunes account and pay with JPY gift cards on the Apple Books store also.
