spinal fusion in Japanese

It is becoming more and more likely that I’ll be going to a Japanese university to continue my studies. Call me paranoid, but I can’t stop thinking of a scenario where something happens to me and they stick me into an MRI machine without me being able to tell them that i had a spinal fusion surgery (which would make me go “explodey splode”). I’m sure if I just say something like “体の中金属だ!” that would clue them in. But for the sake of peace of mind (and curiosity) would anyone by chance be aware of the correct medical term for “spinal fusion” in Japanese? Best I could find (with the help of deepL) was 脊椎固定術 (せきついこていじゅつ). I’m cautiously untrusting of translators especially when it comes to medical terms.

xray of my spine for anyone interested: [https://i.imgur.com/yZnIosc.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/yZnIosc.jpg)
