\- For 26th, where should we stay? Stay in Osaka or Tokyo or a different city? Suggestions for what to do?

I would probably add one more day in Kyoto if I was you. Arashiyama is quite far and can easily take most of the day and there is lots to see/walk around in Kyoto.
