When I was in Sendai I went to [Gyutan Rikyu](http://www.gnavi.co.jp/rikyu/) because it has a decent rating on Tabelog and was nearby – only to discover multiple locations in Tokyo after returning.
Edit: It was good – we ordered a course meal of different preparations.
There is another decent place called Gyutan Tsukasa (牛タン焼専門店 司)
You go out the east exit of Sendai station and it is a store that is built into the Daiwa Roynet Hotel building facing a smaller street perpendicular to the main street.

Go to gyutan alley on the third floor of the station.
