Hello! Just a quick question: when was your in person interview date? I’m an American and I would go to the Seattle consulate just for additional info.
I’m really interested in applying and switching to JET for the 2023 cycle. But the tricky thing is I’m teaching with EPIK in Korea. So, I’m trying to align my vacation back in the states with the date of the interview. Which I know is risky.
Right now I’m thinking of visiting home between like January 26th- to February 10th. But may switch it to leaving for the US on February 2nd (a Friday) and staying in the US for about two and a half weeks. Seems like most people have a early February interview, but maybe last week of jan and first week of Feb would be safest?

I’d be surprised if in person interviews happen again. Online ones were just so much more economical and efficient.
i interviewed through the seattle consulate and this year zoom interviews were held between february 2nd and february 4th, and like others have said, i kinda doubt there will in person interviews for next year lol
