Travel recommendations for a grown family of four

My three grown sons and I are visiting Tokyo for 4 nights in late November. I cannot google anymore, and I am overwhelmed with researching areas without context. Where would a mature family stay? They are not party guys, but they certainly would want to be near restaurants and some nightlife. I will take what is safe and nice- moderately priced-so an exact hotel recommendation would be helpful. TIA!
