Kind of a weird question. I’ll be visiting my parents soon, and my mother is a huge believer, so I thought It’d be nice to bring her something like a wooden crucifix or rosario made in Japan.
I am not a practitioner here in Japan though, so I am clueless as to where could I buy these kind of things. Does anyone have experience about this or know Catholic “shops” (I swear these are a thing in some countries) around Tokyo? Thanks.

This seems like a post about shopping, maybe your question is solved by [the wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/wiki/shopping)?

I would recommend taking your mother to Nagasaki if you can. Lots of churches there that could be considered pilgrimage sites.
If not, try the local Catholic Churches, but I don’t imagine they’d have much of those things.
Or if your mom likes to read, buy her a history book on Catholicism in Japan.

Get something from Nagasaki via Rakuten, or take your mother to Karuizawa. Not doing any religious stuff myself, I could appreciate the beauty of the stylish churches in Karuizawa.
Nagasaki has load of stuff like that on the road leading up to Glover Garden and Oura Church.
Visit Jesus’s tomb in Aomori and share that he did not die on the cross that his brother took his place while he escaped down the silk road eventually settling in Japan, taking a wife, and having many happy little hafu kiddos.
I was going to suggest this as a joke, but I found you can actually buy [fumie reproductions on Amazon](https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AA%E3%82%A2%E3%81%A8%E3%82%A4%E3%82%A8%E3%82%B9-Allegiance-Fumie-%E3%82%A4%E3%82%A8%E3%82%B9%E3%83%BB%E3%82%AD%E3%83%AA%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88-%E6%BD%9C%E4%BC%8F%E3%82%AD%E3%83%AA%E3%82%B7%E3%82%BF%E3%83%B3/dp/B07HVQ7GPH/ref=asc_df_B07HVQ7GPH/).
Re: Shops
I’ve never been inside but there is a San Paolo in Yotsuya that sells “goodies”: https://www.sanpaolo.jp/shop
Saint Ignatius Cathedral, right next to Yotsuya station 四谷駅 on the Chuo Line, they have a little shop there, I remember I bought a rosario neklace there. If you visit on Sunday, you can ask around the Filipinos community, they’re quite friendly.
Check out [this place](http://www.pad-mexico.com/) in Shimokitazawa. Awesome Mexican themed catholic store. Spent a good amount of time perusing there. Real cool handmade stuff.
Find your nearest cathedral. Most cities will have one. There is usually a small shop very close by.
Search for カトリック聖品 通販. This online shop seemingly affiliated with a monastery or convent in Tokyo was my first result: https://shop-pauline.jp/
Aside from imported goods, they also sell items handmade by the nuns, which look like they’d make lovely gifts: https://shop-pauline.jp/?mode=srh&sort=n&keyword=%BD%F7%BB%D2%A5%D1%A5%A6%A5%ED%B2%F1%A1%A1%BC%EA%BA%EE%A4%EA&x=58&y=13
I saw some nuns loitering in Shinagawa once. Perhaps there’s a church there.
If so, they almost definitely have a convenient gift shop.
Pro-Tip: Look at the bottom to check that it doesn’t say Made in China.
Around yotsuya station in Shinjuku ku there are a number of shops catering for church goers and practitioners. Run by nuns and priests (I think)
Along the Shinjuku Dori when walking from yotsuya station towards Shinjuku.
Can’t miss it. Wouldn’t know where it’s made as I am Jewish myself….
I hope you commenters can read japanese better than you read English
St. Mary’s in Tokyo has a large shop, and is worth visiting just to see the insane spaceship design of the cathedral
Nice try Tokugawa Ieyasu. We are on to your tricks.
