Problem with student visa application

Hello!,

excuse me if the post is a bit long but I will try to tell my case because I am a bit desperate.

3 years ago I was studying for 6 months in Japan, I returned to my country and now I try to apply again to continue studying (Japanese school) since I have a year and a half left on my visa. The company that is processing my documents asks me for grades, attendance records and a diploma from my previous studies and this is where I have a problem.

By the end of my second trimester, I had been gaining a significant feeling of loneliness that was coupled with the fact that friends and family, my parents, etc., began to come. to visit Japan, due to this and to spend more time with my family, I absented myself from some classes… reason why I did not get to take the last exams and therefore not collect any diploma, finally the first week of the sixth month residing in Japan to my country to continue my university studies.

I understand that the fault is totally mine, but my goal during my last two years of master’s study was to be able to return to Japan with more training and thus be able to finish my language studies and contribute socially to the country since I fell in love with its lifestyle its people, its community of foreigners where I still have many friends and this society when I was living there… (I’m not a crazy japanlover, I understand well the difficulty of the country and its way of life ).

The company that is processing my documents has told me to write a formal letter indicating the reason why I do not have the diploma. But the real reason would surely deny my visa at immigration… what do you think?

I feel like any advice would help and I would be very, very grateful for any one of them.

Thanks a lot

  1. That’s a giant wall of unnecessary information. We don’t need to know (and frankly don’t *want* to know) the deep reasons behind why you went home.

    That said…

If the experts told you to do this, then *this is what you should do*.

    >But the real reason would surely deny my visa at immigration…

It might. If your “formal letter” is written like this post, it probably will be. If you can restrain yourself to the facts (Got homesick, missed classes, went home) then you might be ok.
