Japan Entry Procedures for Foreigner Traveler

I have a family member visiting me in Japan in November. Are there any special procedures that she must follow, and what is the flow of the whole thing?

For example, will she be obliged to take a PCR test (at her own expense) at the airport? Are their apps she must download? Applications she must submit? Etc Any info would be helpful! Thanks so much!!!
