Okay okay okay humor me, what is “boner” in Japanese

I’ve found that 勃起 (ボッキ) is “erection”, but I’m guessing this isn’t what people say colloquially. So, how does one talk about boners? Thank you for your help in my research.

  1. Wouldn’t be surprised if かける gets used for it. Another fun one along the same lines is もっこり “Bulge” or “pitching a tent” 😛

  2. Isn’t that an older word for a “joke”? That would be 冗談. But I don’t think that word has been used much since the 1950’s.
