Do you ever watch something in Japanese you don’t understand at all/very much just because you like it? I’ve been watching Japanese history videos aimed at middle schoolers and they’re just so wacky and fun. My knowledge of Japanese history has been helpful in understanding the basics, but my language ability is way too low to actually know most of what they’re saying. Am I the only one who watches videos/movies above their level without worrying about understanding?

You’re not the only one. I watch [Riku](https://youtube.com/c/SUSHIRAMEN-Riku1) and [QuizKnock](https://youtube.com/c/QuizKnock) because they’re funny, even when I can’t fully understand the jokes, and [a Buddhist monk’s channel](https://youtube.com/c/taiguch) because he has a very calming way of talking.
Also, any history video recommendations? That sounds like fun.
