Hey I was looking for some help regarding selecting a University exchange destination for Winter 2024 (4 months).
Currently I’m looking at 4 destinations and was wondering any opinions or insight on them:
Nagoya University
Meji University
Sophia University
Waseda University
I was be grateful if anyone has experiences from going to these Universities or if they have opinions on them they could share.
In terms of priorities:
1) Ability to experience the Japanese culture.
2) Ability to travel
3) Quality of education
Hopefully this helps in terms of recommendations.

1. Three of your options are in the 23 wards. The last one is in Nagoya. You can “experience Japanese culture” anywhere in Japan. It depends on which city you’d rather live in.
2. Nagoya is closer to southern Japan (Kyoto, Osaka, etc) Tokyo is closer to northern Japan and has two major airports if you want to fly domestically.
3. Meiji or Waseda.
