A bilingual friend told me a fun trick to learning a language. Learn the sentence structure, then watch the dub of a movie you know really well in that language. I Jane a lot of favorite movies, so rather than list them all, I’m hoping this community can give me a resource where I can find Japanese dubs of lots of American movies. Thanks for your help!

If you use Netflix there is an option to change the audio language. If the movie you like is very popular than there’s a good chance Japanese would be available
(Pretty sure other streaming services would have a similar feature)
Disney+ has Japanese dubs and subs for a lot of their bigger hits like Encanto.
I’ve never watched and will never watch a Japanese dub of non-Japanese content. Especially if they’re trying to fit the mouth movements, it’s easy to learn unnatural Japanese from these sorts of things, plus the story progression is completely foreign and not what a Japanese writer would come up with. Native Japanese content is not *that* hard to approach, especially with Japanese subtitles.
