Okay I hope the click bate title worked, now here is a serious question.
I own/ work in a pub and some of my regulars/ friends have family in Japan, their daughter (half Japanese half Belgian) moved to our town to study, but she speaks no Dutch.
We live in a small town and she is completely alone ( she has family but no friends here) and I only speak some (very) basic phrases and words. What are the best ways to learn some basic Japanese so she at least can talk with someone like once a week when they come to the pub.
Again, I really hope I don’t come off creepy, I just want to make the life of the cousin of some customers a little nicer.
