Not sure what kind of products you’re looking for but I’ll give it a go.
My wife uses a variety of SKII products and seems happy with them. They can be found everywhere.
My skin gets quite dry this time of year. I’ve used Curel, Muji, and other moisturizers (forgot brand names atm) and they have limited effectiveness, often running out of oomph in the evening. My best results are from using Vaseline but the drawback is making your face all shiny (and possibly trapping unfortunate bugs that land on you).
I like muji’s skincare products. Something for everyone.
Honestly, Japan is a huge downgrade from Korea for skincare in terms of price and for the quality you get. You would have to pay a lot more money to get something decent, like SKII.
The only things I can recommend is cow brand cleansers, which are pretty gentle, and Biore UV aqua rich sunscreen. You can find them in most drugstores.
It’s difficult to make specific recommendations because I don’t know your budget, your skin type, or what kind of products you’re looking for. But Hada Labo (肌ラボ) by Rohto is quite popular due to it’s reasonable price-point, fragrance-free formula, and wide availability at almost every drugstore.

This seems like a post about shopping, maybe your question is solved by [the wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/wiki/shopping)?
