Hi, I’m a Canadian who is visiting Japan near the end of the year and some of my favourite bands are playing at countdown.
I’ve gotten tickets to a different, smaller show through a proxy, and that was fine. I ask about countdown because it seems like in order to get tickets, you need “face photo registration,” a Japanese phone number, and maybe a Japanese credit card.
Does anyone know if foreigners are able to access this show?

Ticketing from overseas is incredibly difficult – and sometimes they make it that way on purpose. If they’re asking for local phone number, credit card (most likely), and a face photo, they’re trying to avoid folks reselling the tickets and making a profit. Unfortunately, if you don’t have a local address, phone number and credit card, you won’t be able to buy tickets and nobody will be able to buy them on your behalf, especially with the photo requirements.
