Hey guys, pretty self explanatory. I have a top of the like sharp combo machine, but the drying is pretty lack luster. I hang dry when I can of course, but I miss being able to dry a massive blanket in 60 minutes, or get that crisp dryer sheet scent haha

Near the bases have American dryers.
most people use coin laundry for big stuff. gas dryers while exist aren’t very popular (rinnai makes them).
mostly cuz none of the apartments/houses have gas or exhaust hookup in the spots reserved for the washing machine.
Yes. Most electronics stores should carry them. I have 2 one is electric and the other is gas. Only takes like 30 minutes to dry. They are called 乾燥機 かんそうき
Combos are trash. I use a separate dryer on a pedestal above my washer. It was cheap and works great.
I have a Rinnai RDT-54S at home and had it installed when we bought our house a few years ago. You can find it on Amazon, but we bought ours through the house maker who also installed it for us. Like you, getting to a coin laundry is hard work, so it’s really useful to have at home especially during winter.
Here’s a link to that model, but maybe it would be better to find something at an electronic store that would also offer installation too.

We have a Japanese electric dryer. It takes a long time to dry stuff because it’s pretty small. We hang most of our stuff.
I have a combo unit with an air dryer. It works just fine. I only use it on things I can’t hang dry though, because why waste electricity?
If you go to the big electronics shops, they should have a sign over the dryers that says how long each unit takes to dry a load. I don’t think you’re going to find much advertised at 60 minutes. Even 90 minutes is going to be expensive.
We have a newer combo unit with a heat pump, dries stuff super nice, 3 hours for a full load, wash included.
