    “Why do you want to come to japan”

    I was in an office, in professional attire, with no anime related anything in view. She just assumed I’m a weeb. She then spent the next hour trying to get me to buy a rental car from them. Truly a strange experience.

    The foreign staff don’t look particularly young either.
    I am a long term ALT / ‘teacher’ myself, but I just don’t get how they could want to stay here in such a shitty low paying company.
    I hope they can find a way out of that. There’s just better positions out there.
