Japan taxi app

So is the japan taxi app no longer useable at all? I see it says to use the GO app but I can’t get that as I use the United States App Store, are there any other alternatives?

  1. Can’t you just switch the region to Japan?

    Not sure about iPhone, but Android also allows multiple accounts, so there it’s possible to have one account for your original region, and one for Japan for example. This allows quick access of both region restricted apps.

  2. You can use Uber, but it runs a limited area, where is Tokyo ward and needs pick up fee (420 yen, approximately 3 dollars）
