I live In Kyoto, and I would like a up-skill by going back to school. I am thinking of doing electrical engineering. However, I’m in my mid 30s. What are my chances of finding a job in Japan after graduation?
I’m aware that Japan has a high demand for engineers so I thought that I might have a chance getting a job at an entry level. I want to hear everyone’s opinion.

There’s a serious labor shortage in Japan, particularly for skilled / engineer jobs. However, I can imagine that the nature of your role as an electrical engineer might require N1 or better language skills.
There are a ton of opportunities in Japan in that sector… best bet is to network & get referred if you are concerned about jumping on the boat a bit late
