Language exchange problem.

Can anyone tell me a good language exchange app for an unemployed bum like me? I tried HelloTalk but no one there talks beyond 3 sentences, unless something is horribly wrong with the way I approach communication. I don’t even know what I’m doing wrong. It feels like I’m on Tinder or something. I got my Native Language set to Armenian, but I can’t do anything about it. That’s just where I was born. It could be as simple as bad vibes but I have no way of knowing. I’m not great when it comes to extremely specific subtleties in communication. Not even in my Native language. Any honest feedback is welcome as long as it’s objective criticism. Or even subjective, if you think it could help my situation.

  1. 1. You have some basic errors that would immediately let people know talking to you in Japanese might not go well.

    2. Stick to nice, plain Japanese and drop the attempts at casual, slangy Japanese. It gives the vibe you’re not serious, and it clashes with the errors in basic usage.

    3. Mentioning English and Russian ability is fine, but it may sound to some people like you’re bragging. They may find that off-putting.
