I’m planning my very first trip to Japan for October 2023 and I already started to make a rough plan. I will be travelling with two friends and we’re all in our early 30s. I’ve been learning Japanese for about 2,5 years and also know a bit about the culture, the other two guys are pretty much clueless.
We will be mostly travelling by train and I planned to get the JR Pass from day 8 to day 21 (since Nikko isn’t that expensive without it anyway).
Activities for each destination are also still in the works, so there will likely be more for most days. However, I will try not to pack it too full to have some time to discover some places spontaneously or more in-depth.
