What goods are cheaper outside of Japan that you can bring as a gift?

Due to differing levels of supply and demand and other factors, some goods are easily cheaper abroad than in Japan, for example:

Boots from the US
Bacon from the US
Sports jerseys go on sale more in the US
Electronics from some parts of the world
etc…

With the border opening up recently, what would you recommend someone from abroad bring to gift to their Japanese friends which are cheaper to buy abroad?

This might be even harder with the very weak Japanese Yen but even now Dr Martens boots are still cheaper abroad than in Japan.

  1. Morton’s or Diamond Crystal Kosher salt: superior in every way to the domestic stuff and about 1/6th of the price sold in Japan. For any decent home chef, this is a great gift. Kitchen appliances from the west. Craft beer from the West about 1/2 or less the price in Japan. Maybe just give them USD?

  2. Consumer electronics or brand-name clothes from the US are very cheap compared to Japan.

  3. My friend has asked me to bring Granola and Reeses peanut butter cups. I’m serious.
