I’m interested in buying a used, older camera, something like a Nikon D80.
I am on vacation in the US now and it seems like I can get one here for around $100 USD.
How does that compare to Tokyo?
Is there a consensus on which country is better to buy used camera gear?
This will be my first camera so I’m happy to hear any other advice you have, and I’m not set on any particular camera or brand.

seems average price for body without lens that still works is around 6000-7000 yen, some significantly less. some even include a kit lens at that price.
