  1. A lot of missing info here. I find it hard to believe that a Sailor would just start going on a shoving spree.

  2. A broken upper jaw and others had minor injuries. The “victims” acknowledged the attack which doesn’t make sense. If the person did bump into them there is no fucking way you could break a jaw like that, unless you were doing a full line back offensive move on the group lol. This sounds to me like fraud and trying to get gomenasai money. So, I would start by checking any cameras around the area and end with this bullshit. Find the truth, if the sailor is guilty, fuck him and send him to prosecution but if it turns out that this was a case of fraud, make an example out of them. Both parties should be held at higher accountability and the investigation should be treated with seriousness

  3. I visited Japan for 2 weeks in the mid 90s. The ONLY time I felt any danger was walking past US military guys on leave while in Yokohama.

  4. It’s very dark out at 8:30pm here. Going out for a run at that time of night is….weird. I hate running at night for that reason, you’re trying to dodge old folk walking their dog while staring at their phones etc.
