[Itinerary suggestions][Nov ’22] 2nd time to Japan – 3 days in/around Tokyo

Konnichiwa 🙂 I might be able to plan a 3 day trip for Tokyo in second week this November (13/14/15). I would have all 3 days and depart on the next morning from Haneda around 10 am.

There is a second shorter time I’ll be back in the city but that would be pretty tight I suppose (About 4 hours effectively between flights Haneda->Narita)

Would love to get your help to build a list of items to see/do 🙂 I’m open to revisiting places I have in the list below for any new things that have come up or you think are worth spending more time in.

First time was also in Nov (’19) for about 7 days split between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and a day trip to Nara. I got about 3 days in Tokyo during that trip.

I stayed in Nihonbashi was able to briefly visit the following places last time:

– Odaiba – Mainly for Diver city mall/Unicorn gundam
– Asakusa – For Senso-ji temple and market around it
– Harajuku – Walking around
– Ueno – Walking around, did not climb tower
– Shibuya – Walking around, checking shops
– Shinjuku – Walking around, checking shops
– Akihabara – Did not do any theme cafes, some time spent in arcades
– Yoyogi park
– Tokyo Tower – Did not climb to top
– Tokyo metropolitan building – For the view
– Teamlabs Borderless

In terms of some things I remember I didn’t visit last time:
– Nakano (reached too early, everything was closed)
– Fish market
– Roppongi area
– Onsen type experience – I did not venture much into the rural side (Unless you count a day trip to Nara). I understand that Oedo is now closed. Are there any in/close to city alternatives?

Would love to plan items around anime/manga type things but definitely not a hard requirement. The culture and experience is also equally interesting.

Thank you so much in advance!

  1. Oedo= Oedo Onsen? The one in Odaiba is closed but there’s one in Urayasu too! You could also go to Yunessun in Hakone or Enoshima Spa near Kamakura.

What kind of anime/manga do you like and what kind of city experiences do you enjoy? This may help recommendations.
