Every other product on the shelves says 毛穴, but out of the ones I’ve tried some did next to nothing for me, so I’m open to recommendations!
Some products that work for me:
\- Maikohan “powder-in” BB cream (the only BB cream I’ve come across which doesn’t make large pores more visible)
\- Clear Turn’s Keana Komachi face mask (the one that says “sleep 8 hours in 8 minutes”, lol. It’s really effective for me though!)
\- The famous Perfect Whip face cleanser (I’m using the collagen version)

What make up remover are you using?
Because I found an oil based make up remover at night did a lot to help with my pores.
BCL facial cleansing foam a or b, but I prefer b. If you enjoy perfect whip, this one will knock your socks off.
I’ll join the chorus with the double-cleansing, I like Cow brand cleansing oil, although Softymo is perfectly good as well.
And since there is no way to physically ‘shrink’ pores, I’d say good combo of smoothing primer + powder usually does the trick of getting the look. I’m using the Saem’s primer, but I heard very good things about E.L.F. putty, you can get it on iHerb!
I love shiseido dolux massage cream+ panasonic facial steamer.
More sun exposure will do the trick.
You won’t need creams.
Don’t mix creams with sun exposure though, it will be really bad.
Having been in Japan for almost a decade, the sun closed up everything, tightened everything, and I didn’t mean for it to do so, it was just my daily commute taking the train for the first half decade. I had a few craters on my side temples from acne, they’re gone now.
