WORKING IN JAPAN AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNERS.

I am a Malaysian architecture student nearing the end of my studies. While I am looking forward to seeing Japan, I was wondering whether anyone here works as an architect or interior designer in Japan. I have a few questions and would appreciate any and all responses.

1.What is the entry income and average income for an interior designer in Japan?

2.Can foreigners work as interior designers in Japan?

Because each country has its unique set of rules and regulations, I’m scared they won’t hire me because I graduated from abroad.

3.Can you tell me about the architecture 3D software that is extensively used in Japanese architecture firms?

(In Malaysia, we primarily use Sketchup.)

4. Do cities outside of Tokyo pay less? I am excited to begin my career in Osaka.

5. I understand that the work climate in Japan is rather stressful, but is it truly as bad as social media portrays it?

That answers all of my questions, and I’m grateful to anyone who took the time to respond:)

  1. Not an architect or anything, but aren’t architects and designers in Japan required to make a lot of communication with their clients who are Japanese? 99% of Japanese people can not speak business-level English, so generally, whether or not a foreigner can work in Japan greatly depends on their Japanese skills unless the job is completely in English or a language other than Japanese. I’m guessing that’s the same for the field you’re looking at. Also r/movingtojapan is the sub for people looking to move to Japan
