We are planning a one night stay at Mt Yoshino early April next year and would like to book a stay on Mt Yoshino. I can understand a bit of Japanese and want to secure a booking on website. However, pretty much all the stays do not have booking calendar available after late March. I’m wondering is it just because they are not ready for booking yet or is it too popular during the season that they just don’t allow booking anymore? Those websites look a bit old fashioned so I’m unsure what is going on… I have messaged a couple of hotels through email/insta these two days in jaapnese but wondering if they will reply at all… Would anyone suggest to call them? (That will be international tho)

My gut tells me that it’s too early and they haven’t opened reservations yet. Maybe check in November as that’s 6 months out. And yes , most booking systems in japan are fossils.
