2. I love how dense their infrastructure is. Feels like some video game level stuff

3. With some film grain this picture could have perfectly been added to a typical encyclopedia of many years ago with a subtext like “The public transportation system in Japan is well know for its high-speed railway infrastructure.”

7. This is Ochanomizu, which is next to Akihabara. It’s probably my favorite place in Tokyo. I used to hang out here almost every week on my days off as an exchange student.

9. Recognized the place immediately. I used to have an apartment here right by the river.

10. Akihabara has 5 lines of service, Yamanote, Keihintohoku, Sobusen, Hibiyasen, and the Tsukuba Express.

15. Only three!? There are 6 tracks here, if you’d waited you could have gotten 4 or 5!
