I changed my visa this year in April to start my new job (instructor to professor). There a 3 month gap when I won’t be working so I want to change my visa back so I can work during the 3 months. Is there a limit on how many times you can change your visa in a year?

Thanks in advance

Another option would be to ask for permission to engage outside of your professor visa. I think this is done per job.
Aren’t you getting paid from the university during those three months?
Getting a work permit will allow you to work outside the field of your status of residence. It’s free, but might take two weeks to process and two trips to the immigration office.
You might need your primary sponsor to approve it however.
