Will be visiting Kyushu for the first time in mid to end of November. This will be a solo trip, without self-drive. Am doing an itinerary check here for advice/improvement. Hiking, culture and food would be my thing. Thank you !
**Day 1 Fukuoka**
* Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
* Fukuoka Castle (Maizuru Castle)
* Gundam park
* Fukuoka Tower
* Canal City at night
**Day 2 Beppu**
* Eight hell of Beppu
* Yunohana Goya
* Beppu Ropeway to Mount Tsurumi
**Day 3 Yufuin**
* Kokonoe Yume Suspension Bridge (From what i read, this will take a while because of the bus trips)
* Might walk around and visit the Shindou falls nearby.
* Can this be chained with Nabegataki Falls?
**Day 4 Mt Aso**
* This is straightforward, i will be doing the usual crater hikes.
* Nakadake Crater
**Day 5 Mt Aso**
* Takachiho Gorge. I cant think of how else to fit the gorge here. Would seek advice if it is better to stay at Mt Aso or the Gorge itself. My next stop is Kumamoto
* Can this be chained with Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine?
**Day 6 Kumamoto**
* Kumamoto Castle
* Sakuranobaba Josaien
* Suizenji Jojuen Garden
**Day 7 Kumamoto**
* I dont really know what to do here. I considered Amakusa, but the Christian sites are not really my thing.
* Kuratake Shrine ? But just going there for this seemed overstretched.
* Or would it be more sensible to reach Nagasaki earlier and spend an additional day there?
**Day 8 Nagasaki**
* Atomic Bomb Museum
* Nagasaki Peace Park
* Dejima
* Dutch slope
* Mount Inasa Night View
**Day 9 Nagasaki**
* Visit Gukanjima (This need one entire day right?)
**Day 10 Fukuoka**

**Day 11 Fukuoka**
* Possibly day trip out to Kita-Kyushu
