D point card

How does one acquire a d point card? According to [this](https://dpoint.docomo.ne.jp/global/m/faq/where_en.html?_ga=2.242044226.1502910916.1658818333-1094770609.1658818333) you can only pick one up at airports and such places. Another page on docomo for making a d point account, necessitates that you enter the physical card information.

Am I missing something here?

  1. You can pick up blanks at most shops that give dpoints – there’s often leaflets by the till. You can also download the app and create an online card, and also associate the physical card with the virtual one so the points go to the same account.

  2. You will need a d-account. Then you can install the d払い app and there’s a button there to popup a virtual d-point card (called モバイル dポイントカード). That’s the easiest way. There’s also a dedicated d-point app. You can also get a physical card at any docomo shop.

on iphone, you can now add d-point card to the wallet, and when you pay with applepay, it will automatically add d-points to the card – this is a recent thing as of this month.

edit: also I think I recall recommending you d-prepaid card, so I’m guessing you got that – it’s also a physical “d-point” card if you look at the back, there’s a number. You can register that in your d-account if it isn’t there already.

  3. I picked one up at family mart and just went to their website to register
