Juice Robinson agrees deal with AEW

  1. In a time where even their most hardcore fans are getting on them for not giving enough talent screen time it sounds like the best move for AEW to keep signing more guys. Lol.

  2. If this is true, it kinda explains Juice’s constant L’s ever since he joined Bullet Club.

Hopefully he stays with Bullet Club, guy has tons of charisma and is hilarious, hasn’t been the sharpest in the ring but he fits BC like a glove.

  3. Was only a matter of time until AEW’s addiction of signing new people effected their current partnerships. When shit hits the fan they’ll have no one to blame but themselves, if this is true.

  4. Triple H fails me, he’s supposed to be signing away all the mid bullet club members, not just the Good Brothers.

  5. He needs to bring back his old gimmick. This Ace’s & 8ths garbage ain’t working. His match vs Moxley wasn’t good and seems like a favor for his wife who AEW is very high on.

With ROH around the corner and Aew in talks of an extension tv deal, rampage is going 2 hours folks. They need to fill 5 hours of tv.

  6. Juice was one guy who I hoped would sign with AEW/WWE because he’d hit his ceiling in NJPW and American audiences can actually appreciate his promos. Hopefully he gets the Lance Archer deal where he can show up now and then tho

  7. The match/angle with Ren Narita recently on Strong was great and I was hoping that would be the start of his rebound. I’ll kind of miss him but I’ve gotten used to him not being very important since Fall of 2019.

  8. I just saw him work NJPW last night and he seemed to be having fun. I assume AEW will share him with NJPW like they do with Yuta and Mox and Eddie, only now he gets to see his wife more times a week.

  9. Well done Juice. Tough times during the pandemic and now to be travelling the other side of the world for weeks at a time when you have a life back home.

Doing the jobs on the way out and putting over our boy Narita like he did was great to see. Cannot doubt his desire to entertain and do things the right way, would welcome him back for guest appearances and hope he hits the ground running in AEW. Doubtless they need to turn that place around before it dies.

  10. Makes sense if he wants to spend more tie with his wife. I really hope they don’t pair them up for a tag match against Sammy/Tay though.

  11. Explains his total loser booking as of recently (and yes, he was a loser as babyface too but shhhh)

  12. Is juice not signed with njpw? I like I still see him Wreslting for njpw like other aew wreslters tho but I’m confused

  13. Good for him. He’s had a good run in New Japan, been a few years since he’s been overly interesting, hopefully he gets stuck in with a new start.

  14. repeating what I posted on r/SC…

I’m honestly not sure what ‘Rock Hard’ Juice Robinson does in AEW, but I feel like the ‘The Flamboyant’ Juice Robinson could still be over as fuck if he goes back to it.

It could also be just a temporary agreement because he’s not set to do anything in Japan for a while and wants to be in the US if he’s not . If he’s not set for WTL or WK, the next thing he might be back for is New Japan Cup which is like 6 months out.

Both he and Bandido are familiar ROH faces so he may have been brought on to bolster that as well. Now that I think about it both guys were in the same stable, too.

  15. Part of me is bummed, because he really had a banger of a match with Finlay on G1, and the rest of his G1 run was quite entertaining as well. But I understand he wants to work closer to home so he can spend more time with his family. So, good for him.

  16. I like Juice but Tony needs to work out a deal with NJPW so he can get his old theme back.

  17. It makes sense.

He gets to work domestically and his wife is already employed there.

    He is a good worker. So it’s a no-brainer.

  18. Awesome, he is a good draw and has more often than not great matches.

Needs to feud with Christian for use of their shared finisher.

  19. Sigh. It was bound to happen. NJPW dropped the ball on him so many times. He’s a special talent.

  20. Dude has been so missable for me. His matches aren’t bad. They’re just not anything special

No idea what his character is supposed to be but he’s never done anything for me. I hope aew keeps him in the midcard.

  21. He’ll be on rampage for a week until we can see him live recorded on YouTube every week if we’re lucky 😅

  22. I want to say this is a good move for Juice, but unfortunately given their track record, he’ll likely be used well for a couple weeks before fading off to obscurity on Dark.

  23. I’m a bit out of the loop, has Juice actually left NJPW or is this AEW deal on top of his NJPW obligations? Didn’t he just get added to Bullet Club a few months ago?

  24. I really hope not. While he hasn’t exactly been shining in NJPW, he’s not gonna find it any better on AEW.

  25. I imagine his wife had something to do with him agreeing but I hope this is more of a “Ill do some shows while working Strong for njpw” and less “Im all elite rock haaaard”.

I honestly love Juice and I hope he is happy wherever he is but I will always love seeing him in NJPW.

  26. I care more about Bandido than Juice at this point, which is a shame because I liked “Flamboyant” Juice more than his new heel persona.
