Full time employee with no pension benefits? Is this legal?

Niece was offered a 40 hour a week teaching position. The offer states that 400,00 yen would be deducted from each paycheck to pay for her pension. Isn’t her employer supposed to be paying half of that?

  2. For pension and insurance the company pays half, the employee pays half. The employee half is deducted from your pay.

    EDIT 4万円 a month would be what the standard Eikawa person making that wage would pay month.
