Hi all-
I live in the mountains of Tokushima and work at home as a software developer. The cable TV Internet available in my town is bad. It drops daily and the speed is less than 75kbps down and 60kbps up. Overall speed and quality changes throughout the day and I would like something more consistent.
Can anyone recommend a Satellite, Fiber or some other service?

Are you actually on a mountain or something? did you check availability of NTT FLETS service? pretty sure at least adsl should be available country wide.
The only satellite internet I’ve seen around here is for boats/military? (not sure target users actually) and they only own a single 38mbps transponder on JCSAT 2B.
if there’s phone line, then FTTH or ADSL. If not, cable TV. Exactly how far in the mountains are you?
