It is not an exaggeration to say I owe most of my listening skills to those official radios/podcasts. Also deepened my love of puns and other wordplay!
For those who are unfamiliar, these radio shows / podcasts are usually 30min\~1hr long audio shows hosted by one or more main voice actors/actresses of the anime. Sometimes other voice actors or staff(of animation, sound design, director , singers/band members of OP/ED, etc.) are invited. They talk about the latest aired episode, read and respond to letters from the fans, play games, interview the guest, share stories from behind the scenes, and so much more. Also they inform you of the latest releases of merch, pop-up shops and other events ~~so I can sulk about not being able to buy/attend any of them because they’re all in Japan and I am not~~.
