So I understand that on roads with 3 or more lanes you’re supposed to do the two stage right turn but what about two lane roads?
I know you’re supposed to stay on the left side of the road at all times but for that purpose on a two lane road you’re aloud to move over to the right side for turning I’m assuming? Thanks japanlife.

If the two lane road has a turning lane added then its considered a 3 lane road and you are required to make a two stage turn. If it only has two lanes then yes, you use the turning lane to turn right.
If it is a 3 or more lane road and has a sign indicating that its not legal to make two stage turns, you are required to turn in the turning lane. (That sometimes means moving from the furthest left lane to the turning lane and crossing 4+ lanes of traffic)
On the road with two lanes, you just do the turn the normal way, except if there is a traffic sign prohibiting it.
If you don’t feel safe, you can always get off on the sidewalk and push your scooter.
Keep your eyes for Police as they often like to hide at the intersections and catch people doing illegal turns on 50 cc scooters.
