Will me going to a mental hospital for suicide affect me going to a Japanese school?

This might sound ridiculous but I’m unsure how extensive schools will look into my history, or my visa process. Thank you

  1. I have no idea how extensive the visa process is, but this is something you should definitely consider for your own safety: mental health issues in Japan are *significantly* harder to get help for. If you have a crisis when you’re here, you may not be able to get the help you need.
