Can you be double charged for electricity

Hi there,

Im having a very stressful time at the moment and was wondering if someone here could provide clarity. I was with softbank denki for electricity and got a letter in the post from tepco saying softbank had cancelled my contract and my electricity was being turned off. I went to softbank in Shibuya for help and they would not help me at all. They wouldn’t even check anything. So I rang gtn and they said they changed my provider to tepco but don’t know if I’ll be double charged for electricity as softbank will not speak to either of us and I can’t get on the softbank denki online page. I’ve tried every softbank phone number and keep coming up with dead ends.

Has anyone else had this problem? I just don’t want to be double charged and softbank are being extremely unhelpful.
