For those who are more network savvy as to how Japanese internet via NTT Fleets work I have a question.
When you contract a provider who then contracts NTT plan for you. How does it work? Are you first connecting to servers owned by the provider you contract or it’s just directly to NTT?

and to answer your question simply, when you connect via pppoe, you pass through providers network/equipment.
when you connect with ipoe, ipv6 goes through NTT’s ngn and ipv4 traffic would go through the tunnel/VNE.
